Journey to Silver Elite Blog Hop

Hello everyone, and thank you for joining us on this blog post. This is a special blog for me as it is my very first blog participating in the SILVER TO SILVER ELITE fun fold this Month. I am so excited to be part of a group of other talented  demonstrators who are Silver and are working there way up to the next level of SILVER ELITE in there STAMPING BUSINESS with STAMPIN' UP!  We are all trying to achieve our next goal and supporting one another along the way. We would  greatly appreciate your support.  I have included at the bottom of this post all the links of the other blog posts and I hope we will inspire you to create some of your own projects as well.  

HALLOWEEN TREAT BOXES

  

I created these two Halloween treat boxes for my weekly You tube tutorial with a new Stamp set bundle called CUTEST HALLOWEEN from the new mini catalog. This stamp set bundle will be available to purchase on August 3rd 2021. I thought I would create a couple of Halloween treat boxes from this new mini catalog first with this being the first holiday in just a couple of months.  

PENGUIN PLACE

Hello stampin friends, today I wanted to share a sneak peek of a new stamp set called PENGUIN PLACE. I normally don't start making Christmas cards until the weather is much cooler and the season is more late fall. I couldn't wait to start playing with these little penguins. This set comes with a matching punch, and the first time I saw this bundle I knew I was going to love it. I also used a SALE-a- bration paper with this card. The paper is free after a $50.00 order starting on August 3rd for customers to order from the new mini catalog. I am super excited about all these new products coming out in the next couple of weeks. This (DSP) is called PENGIUN PLAYMATES and it is a 12 X 12 pack that matches this bundle set. 

EASY POP UP CARD

 

I created this easy Pop up card using the SENDING HUGS BUNDLE SET. My inspiration for this card was thinking out side the box of a normal regular card. I wanted to try something new and different and easy. 

SNEAK PEEK FALL CARD

                      

          

I am a huge fan of the fall and I couldn't wait to start making Fall cards when I seen this stamp set bundle called SPARKLE OF THE SEASON. This bundle will become available to order for customers on Aug 3rd from the new mini catalog. I have always been used to saying the holiday catalog because of all the holiday items in there. 

COUNT ON ME

  

    I didn't really pay much attention to this set right away in the annual catalog as I normally overlook many of them at first. I started noticing other cards made with this set from other posts on social media and etc. I knew right away I had to have this set as I love how adorable and cute these images remind me of how they would make wonderful kids cards, and for others as well. I don't know who wouldn't want a cute and adorable card with koala bears on them. The other card reminds me of winnie- the pooh, and who doesn't love pooh bear. 

BREW UP SOME FUN

 

Hello everyone, For today's blog post I have a couple of projects using the new BREW UP SOME FUN stamp set from STAMPIN' UP! I do have a video tutorial  included in this post down towards the bottom of the post. I wanted to do a project with some coffee or tea bags and a matching card. I choose to do a Tea bag holder but using the same measurements from a fellow demo and my design of this pretty (DSP) Designer Series Paper of the hand penned. 

Nature's Harvest Card

For this card I featured the new upcoming NATURE'S HARVEST stamp set bundle. This is a sneak peak of a new stamp set from the new JULY-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I absolutely love this bundle set, I also added some older dies to pair them up with the QUIET MEADOW dies. I thought that they would go great together for this card. 

AFTER THE STORM

Today I have a fun and simple card using the AFTER THE STORM stamp set. I knew I had to have this set when I seen it in the annual catalog. I got the inspiration for this card as I am always looking up at the sky at the clouds. I know it sounds silly but I know when there is a thunderstorm about to happen when I see those dark clouds rolling in.

With this card I had so much fun creating it by using a blending brush and adding those sun rays and clouds. It's a basic and simple card.  It's like a storm passing on and the sunny sunshine has came out on a summer day. I am including the You tube video tutorial in today's post. I am not really sure what happen to the video this week as maybe my phone wasn't turned right when filming. If your watching on your desktop it should be fine. Basic card base cut at 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and for the first layer is cut at 5.25 X 4 and for the last layer it is cut at 5 X 3.75

SWEET AS A PEACH BOX

    

 

For this project I got this inspiration from a fellow demonstrator and tweaked it with my own creation. I wanted to add a top for this box and came up with this so it will fit the whole box.

I wanted to also decorate the mini jam jars and used the sweet as a peach suite of products. I used PALE PAPYA one of the new in colors this year from STAMPIN' UP! from the new annual catalog. I just love hw it came out and so easy to create one of your own. There is also a you tube video that I did a few weeks to show step by step on how I did this. The video is included in today's post, located down towards the bottom. I didn't want to leave the mini jam jars bare and not add some (DSP) Designer Series Paper from the sweet as a peach. I have to say this is one of my favorite stamp set suites this year. 

 

I wrapped some of this pretty DSP around the mini jam jar and added a peach image at the top on the jar. I will included the measurements for this project in today's post. 

Measurements are :

Box Bottom cut your Card stock at 10 X 7 3/4 and score on all four sides at 2 3/4 and the dsp is cut at (2) of these 4.25 X 2.50 and you will need (2) of these cut at 2 X 2.50

Box Top cut at 7.50 X 5.25 score on all four sides at 1.50 and the dsp is cut at you will need (2) of these 1.25X 4.25 and (2) of these at 1.25 X 2

For the dsp to wrap around the jars is cut at 1.75 X 7.50

Right behind you

 

For today's card I created a simple and easy card using the RIGHT BEHIND YOU stamp set. I couldn't resist but to get this set as it reminds me of when I was a kid riding my bike in the summer time. It's such a cute set and so very versatile of using it to create so many wonderful cards. I really enjoyed making this card as it always so relaxing to make cards of my own. I used a handmade stencil I created from a piece of hard clear plastic that comes with the PHOTOPOLYMER stamp sets. The stencil was created so I could use it to make some fluffy blue clouds on a piece of basic white card stock. I took some cloud dies to cut this out to make my stencil. 

Sharing Sunshine Card

 

                           

   For today's blog post I wanted to feature a sharing sunshine card I created with the new SHARING SUNSHINE stamp set. I just love how simple it is to create an easy card with this set. I wanted to do a easy and cheerful card for someone who could use some uplifting cheer right now.
