BREW UP SOME FUN

Hello everyone, For today's blog post I have a couple of projects using the new BREW UP SOME FUN stamp set from STAMPIN' UP! I do have a video tutorial included in this post down towards the bottom of the post. I wanted to do a project with some coffee or tea bags and a matching card. I choose to do a Tea bag holder but using the same measurements from a fellow demo and my design of this pretty (DSP) Designer Series Paper of the hand penned.

I didn't pick up the right tea bags of them being individually wrapped like I thought they were. I took a cellophane bag and wrapped them on my own and put them into the tea bag holder. I decided to make a matching card to go with this holder. I really love how they came out. These little tea bag holders make wonderful little gifts to give to anyone who enjoys drinking tea. I used the Soft seafoam for the actual tea bag holder and added the DSP to the front and back. I used some layering circle dies for the image and used some Dimensionals to pop the layering circle with the image and sentiment so that the flap will stay shut until you open it. Measurements are :

Cut your card stock at 3"X 8 3/4 Score on the 8 3/4 side at 3 1/8, 3 3/4, 6 7/8, and 7 1/2

You will need two of these cut at 3 1/16 X 3 score on the 3" side at 3/8, 1 1/8, 1 7/8, and 2 5/8

Flip the card stock over and score it at 3/4, 1 1/2, and 2 1/4

For the (DSP) you will need two of these cut at 3 X 2 7/8 and one piece cut at 2 7/8 X 1 1/8

For the card you will need your basic card base cut at 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 for the first layer Cut a piece of basic white card stock at 5.25 X 4 and for the other piece you will need to cut a piece of card stock at 2 X 5.25 and the DSP cut at 1.75 X 5 I also used a basic border die for the zigzag border. The sentiment was punched out with a ESSENTIAL TAG punch. For the hole at the top I just used

a hand held hole puncher I picked up at local craft store. I used some PALE PAPAYA OPEN WEAVE RIBBON for the bow at the top.
