I created these two cards using the new PENGUIN PLACE bundle along with the free SALE a-bration (DSP) Designer Series Paper. This paper is free with a $50.00 order through out the SALE a-bration that STAMPIN' UP! is offering right now.
If your not familiar with what SALE a-bration is, it's the most wonderful time of the year and it's twice this year as STAMPIN' UP! wanted to change it this year. Normally it's only once a year and now we get to enjoy it twice as much instead of just once. I don't know about you but I love freebies and this is one of the many products that you can get your hands on when placing your order with any $50.00.
Isn't this cutest FREE (DSP) Designer Series Paper, to create so many cards and other Paper crafting projects with. I will be sharing another one of my you tube weekly videos showing how to create some little treat boxes for any occasion, or for the up coming holiday. I have to say it's one of my favorites along with many others in this new mini catalog. If you would like to get your hands on this free paper, place your order of any $50.00 today before the end of SALE a-bration. If you don't already have a demonstrator I would love if you pick me and when using my current host code JQR4RWMP of any orders less than $149.00 you will get an extra bonus of my free gifts to you in the mail.
I created another card just using the Polar bear by fussy cutting him out and a scrap of one of these papers for this card. They make great cards for kids and adults as I am sure it will put a smile on anyone's face that gets one in there mail. I am adding the measurements for these cards and all the supplies if you would like to create some of your own. Simple and easy cards for anyone to do for holidays or any occasion. I would love for you to come follow me on all my social media sites where I am always having promos along with many other projects I post along the way. Thank you for visiting my blog post today and I hope I have inspired you to create some of your own cards or projects. I also offer online classes as well if interested just shoot me an email or you can always comment here too. I would love to hear your thoughts about today's post.
Measurements :
For the first card with the penguin, it is cut at 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 for the card base, and the first layer is cut at 5.25 X 4 and I used a 1 1/2 X 5 1/4 strip of dsp and used the 3rd largest scalloped contour die for the image and sentiment. For the second card I cut the card base at 4 1/4 X 11 and scored it at 5 1/2 and using a embossing folder to create the background polka dots and a 1 1/2 X 5 1/4 strip of the dsp and adhered it to this piece of soft seafoam card stock on the side and added a white ribbon and tied a bow. I fussy cut the polar bear out and added it to one of the stitched so sweetly dies. For the sentiment I used a piece of basic white card stock strip cut at 3 X 1/2"
For the last card I cut my card base at the 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and used some soft seafoam card stock cut at 5 1/4" X 5 and added a piece of the (DSP) cut at 2 1/4" X 5 to a piece of basic white cardstock layer. Before putting the final touch on the front of this card I cut out a piece of basic white card stock with the fifth layering Diorama dies and blended in some balmy blue ink to give this a more wintery/ artic look for the polar bear to sit on. I fussy cut the polar bear out with my snips.
